Waypoints

If you are going to have a trip, you can pre-configure your waypoints, so they will be used by windRose (e.g. they will be drawn on the map viewer). Waypoints are not persistent in windRose and must be configured by preparing a special file on the memory card, under <home>/Trip/CurrentTrip.txt - the file must contain a waypoint in each row, with fields separated by a comma (CSV format). An example of file is:

To load waypoints in windRose, select the menu "Navigation / Manage waypoints" and then press the button "Load waypoints". After a few seconds you should see them on the screen, so you can go back to the main view.

You can select the current waypoint with the main menu ("Previous waypoint" and "Next waypoint"). On the map viewer, waypoints are shown as flags (normally blue, while the current is red).

Please be aware that the map viewer can be dramatically slowed down by too many waypoints (e.g. more than 10) - issue WR-51.
